FRACTIONAL FINANCIAL BEHAVIORAL OFFICER

INCORPORATING THE PSYCHOLOGY OF FINANCIAL PLANNING INTO YOUR FIRM

The Fractional Financial Behavior Officer (FFBO) is a way to have a Certified Financial Behavior Specialist® and Certified Financial Therapist-I on your team - without having to hire a full-time employee.

Since you're here, you probably recognize the significance of incorporating the psychology of financial planning into your practice. At the same time, it's not feasible to hire a full-time financial behavior expert.

The FFBO allows you to have access to a dedicated financial psychology expert on a part-time basis, helping you better understand your clients' financial behaviors and enhance the quality of your services.

As your FFBO, I am highly skilled and experienced in the psychology of financial planning, including financial psychology, financial therapy, financial behaviors, personal values, and meaning in life. I work with financial planners, advisors, coaches, and counselors, assisting in understanding and addressing the emotional and behavioral aspects of your clients' financial decision-making.

How it Works

  • Consultation. We start with an initial consultation to get to know each other. I want to understand your practice's needs, objectives, and clientele.

  • Customized Solution. Each firm is unique, so each firm will have different needs. Based on the initial consultation, I'll create and present a plan is tailored to what you need.

  • Hiring Decision. If it's a good fit, then we can get started.

  • Part-Time Engagement. The FFBO is just that, fractional. That means that I work for you on a part-time basis. The details will be discussed in the initial consultation.

  • Ongoing Support. We can work together for as long as you feel there is value being added. You are free to cancel at any time.

  • How much does it cost?
It really depends on how much your firm wants or needs. It could range from less than $1,000 per month up to $5,000 per month or more.
  • What do you cover?
We can cover what your firm needs and wants. Typical topics include case consultation, communication training, client communication, workflow and onboarding consulting, financial purpose training, and emotional intelligence training.
  • Can you do other stuff?
Of course. This is a new service and we can work with what you need. I appreciate all your suggestions!
